BasketAfrica is a division of The Overseas Connection, Ltd., located near Boulder, Colorado.
We have been importing from Africa for 20 years. We work directly with the artisans and nearly everything is made to our specifications to guarantee consistently high quality products year after year. The founder, Steve Karowe, visits Africa regularly to improve the design and quality of our products.
We believe in Fair Trade. By working directly with the artisans we make sure that everyone is happy with the conditions and wages. We have worked with most of our producers for over a decade, which is quite a testament to our good relations.
